The business was formerly known as Gerrard Campbell. Gerrard, who was originally an engineer, started the business some 30 years ago. He is a world renowned expert in Viennese clocks and ran the business with Joyce his wife. Some six years ago Paul Archard, who has been a major collector of Vienna regulators for some 20 years, took over the business. More recently the business has acquired Derek Roberts Antiques. The business specialises in early Viennese clocks between 1790 - 1850.  This was the heyday of Viennese clock making before German mass production partially destroyed it.  This period is noted for it's elegant and simple case styles as well as maintaining great individuality between makers.  The quality of workmanship is usually outstanding and not fully understood by many clock collector's.

Our stock ranges from simple eight day timepieces to complicated grand sonnerie seconds beating wall clocks and clocks with durations up to one year.

Viennese clocks do not look their best in distressed and unrestored condition.  We, therefore, restore all our clocks to a high standard, whilst respecting the originality of the pieces.

We exhibit at the Olympia Fair in November, the BADA Fair in March, and the New York International Fair in April. At other times clocks can be viewed by appointment.
